The Customer Site Deployment organization partners crossfunctionally and directly with our customers to drive and execute onsite structural and systems deployments, in preparation for final acceptance of theSymboticsystem.Whatyou'lldoPerform inspections on systems associated with Automated Storage and Retrieval System of automated robotic vehicles and Automated Adapters/ Lifts.Support continuous operation by adjusting, calibrating, repairing, replacing, ormodifyingsystem components.Experienceand knowledge withtroubleshooting basic PLC (Programmable Logic ControllerrunningSQL queriesandexecutingtest plans using Test Rail,Jiraira, SharePoint, or other collaboration methodsEffective communication of scheduleimpactingproblems and suggested actions, including approximate time required for corrective and emergency maintenance torequiredteam members.Responsible for cleanup of equipment and removal of replaced parts from work areas after repairs are completed.Responsible for minor utility work such as machining holes,brackets;cuttingsteel;aligningsensors;attachingUnistrut;etc.).Responsible for troubleshooting, calibration, set up, and tool changes on Robotic arms.Responsible for continuous cleaning and adhering to 5S policies.Ensure that the safety commitments in compliance with OSHA,Symbotic, and our customers' processes and procedures are met dailyAssistin training / onboarding of Team members asrequiredOther dutiesassignedWhatyou'llneed Associatedegree or equivalent experienceorcertificationin electronics, automotive, automation, manufacturing, or equivalent field preferred.Minimum of 2 years' experience in maintenance of mechanical systemsand experience in electro-mechanical highly preferred. Basic Excel knowledge and PowerPoint (Microsoft tools) to Importing datasets, basic chart production, running Pivot Tables, applying filters on data. Basic networking skills, such as an understanding of an IP address, how to find a MAC address, ping addresses, SSH into machines, etc.Advanced troubleshooting (reading ofCAD drawings/maintenance manuals/user manuals/etc.)Ability to workindependentlyof supervisor following procedures and manuals.Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and changecoursebased on immediate business needs.Our EnvironmentRemote, field-based positionTravel isrequiredupto 75% of the timeEmployeemust have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.The employee is responsibleto owna credit card andmanageexpenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.The employee isfrequentlyrequired to walk and reach with hands and armsThe employeeis routinely required towork at heights of up to 45 feet and within restrictive areas of 24 inches. to stand; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlThe employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 poundsMustcomply withall safety requirements and protocols, including without limitation Lock out tag out safety protocols and fall protection safety protocolsApproximately 75% of time will be spent on a construction site with PPErequired(hard hat, safety vest, steel toes, eyeglasses, ear protection, fall protection (e.g., safety harness)There will be steep stairs to climb into the structureYoumaybe requiredto routinely walk up and down stairs to navigate the automation structure.You will regularly be near railings that are high off the groundSubject to environmental conditions, protection from weather conditions but not necessarily temperature changes. The base range for this position in the posted location is $71,000.00 - $97,900.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
