Apply fertilizers and pesticides in accordance with University of Florida and regulatory guidelines. Assist with field water control systems and facilities maintenance activities. Operate, inspect, and maintain a variety of equipment, including tractors, irrigation systems, and related machinery. Collect soil samples for testing and analysis. Operate University of Florida vehicles as required for work assignments. Lubricate, clean, and perform routine upkeep on vehicles, machinery, equipment, instruments, tools, shop areas, and related workspaces using hand tools, power tools, and cleaning equipment. Work schedule of Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with availability to work occasional weekends as needed.
