Hospitalist Physician
This position will be employed by Adfinitas Health and work at Wayne Memorial Hospital.
Our hospitalist team provides inpatient care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds, and planning for discharge.

Daily Coverage: Team of 2 providers
Night Coverage: 1 provider
ICU: Open
Procedures/Vents: None
Subspecialty support: Excellent
Must be BE/BC in Internal Medicine. Must also carry an active Pennsylvania state license, American Heart Association CPR Certification, DEA License, state Controlled Substance Registration, BLS and ACLS

Minimum Requirements
Expertise in Hospital Medicine, including diagnosis, treatment, and procedures
Strong skills in patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and developing treatment plans
Experience with rehabilitation services and post-surgical care coordination
Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulatory standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, with valid Pennsylvania medical license
Board Certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine
Experience in a hospital or community healthcare setting is advantageous
