Our ideal candidate has an upbeat demeanor, passion for the culinary arts, and some professional training or experience. In this role, you will help make cookies, cakes, breads, and other pastries according to pre-established recipes. Consistency is essential, so you must also follow portioning and decorating guidelines. This role is ideal for someone who is interested in pursuing a career as a dessert or pastry chef.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**+ Assists with the daily production and distribution of all pastries, desserts and baked goods.+ Ensures proper food handling, presentation, portion control and maintenance of proper serving temperatures.+ Operates and cleans equipment after each use. Performs scheduled routine cleaning.+ Stores, labels and dates food items according to policy.
