SAP Techno Functional
Position: SAP Finance Technical / Functional ConsultantWe are looking for a strong SAP Finance Technical / Functional Consultant with 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably with significant experience in SAP FI technical work, S/4HANA transformation/migration projects, CDS Views, and SAP Finance data/analytics.The candidate should be able to bridge SAP Finance business processes with SAP technical data structures and downstream analytics/reporting requirements.Key Responsibilities Act as an SAP Finance SME across SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA Finance.Provide strong technical expertise across SAP FI/CO, including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, Product Costing and financial close processes.Work extensively on SAP Finance migration/transformation projects, particularly ECC-to-S/4HANA or similar modernization programs.Demonstrate strong understanding of S/4HANA Finance architecture and data model, including:Universal Journal / ACDOCABusiness PartnerAsset AccountingControlling dataMargin AnalysisS/4HANA data-model changes/simplificationsAnalyze and understand SAP CDS Views, including their underlying data sources, joins/associations, filters, calculations and use in reporting/analytics.Identify and analyze SAP source tables, fields and business logic behind Finance reports and transactions.Read and analyze ABAP/custom Z programs, function modules, BADIs and user exits to understand Finance business logic and data derivations.Work with SAP data extraction mechanisms such as CDS-based extraction, ODP, SAP extractors and/or SLT.Translate SAP Finance business and technical logic into source-to-target mappings, transformation specifications and data requirements for Data Engineering/Analytics teams.Support the design and validation of SAP Finance data for analytical and reporting use cases.Reconcile data between SAP ECC/S/4HANA and downstream analytical/reporting platforms, including document-level validation, financial amounts, balances, record counts and business-rule validation.Support SIT, UAT, regression testing and production validation.Work closely with Finance, SAP Technical, Data Engineering and BI/Analytics teams.Mandatory Technical RequirementsCandidates must have strong hands-on experience in most of the following areas:5+ years relevant SAP Finance experienceStrong SAP FI/CO technical/functional expertiseStrong SAP S/4HANA Finance experienceHands-on experience in SAP Finance migration/transformation projectsStrong understanding of ACDOCA / Universal JournalHands-on CDS Views experience analysis, data sources, joins/associations, filters and reporting/analytics use casesStrong understanding of SAP Finance tables and data structuresAbility to analyze/read ABAP and custom Z programsExperience with SAP data extraction such as CDS/ODP/extractors/SLTExperience translating SAP logic into source-to-target mappings and transformation rulesExperience with SAP Finance reporting/data reconciliationAbility to explain how S/4HANA Finance data is leveraged for analytics and reportingGood to HaveSAP BW/BW4HANAODP / SAP BW extractorsSLT replicationSQLPower BI or other enterprise BI platformsDatabricks / Delta LakeData warehouse / dimensional modellingECC-to-S/4HANA migration or modernizationExperience working with Data Engineering teams
