CNC Programmer – Aerospace3 Positions | 1st Shift | Contract Through 2027 | Santa Clarita, CAAn exciting opportunity for experienced CNC Programmers to join a busy aerospace manufacturing facility supporting a large volume of precision machining work.Pay & ShiftCompetitive hourly rate based on experience, $40-$66/hr 1st ShiftContract through 2027Immediate need for programmers who can hit the ground runningThe Role as a Computer Numerical Control ProgrammerProgram complex aerospace components from 3D models through production-ready CNC programs.Primarily work offline, with hands-on involvement in machine proofing and troubleshooting.Create setup sheets and support machinists during program prove-outs.Troubleshoot alarms, G-code/M-code, chip control and cutting issues alongside union machinists.Help transfer existing programs onto new/replacement machines and reduce production backlog.Machines & Technology3, 4 & 5-axis millsCNC lathes & mill-turnsSingle/dual spindle and turret machinesOkuma, Fanuc & Siemens controlsMastercam – primary CAM softwareESPRIT – required for mill-turn programmingNX & Creo – CAD/model environmentGrinding and EDM experience is a plusWhat We're Looking For From The Computer Numerical Control ProgrammerStrong CNC programming experience with the ability to hit the ground running.Experience with mills, lathes, 5-axis and/or mill-turn machining.Strong Mastercam and/or ESPRIT experience.Confident troubleshooting CNC programs at the machine.Aerospace or other high-precision manufacturing experience preferred.
