Position DescriptionThe Program Manager, Engineering is directly responsible for driving and managing a portfolio of medium to large scale projects to achieve Refresco’s strategic objectives. The jobholder will coordinate the work activities for multiple functions to ensure satisfactory project delivery defined by the scope, timeline, budget, and technical performance. The Program Manager, Engineering demonstrates strong business acumen through identifying key stakeholders, coordinating cross functional teams, development of business cases and budgets for each project. The jobholder uses technical, engineering and program management expertise to provide leadership throughout the project lifecycle. Phases include Initiation/scope definition, planning/design, execution, and project close.Essential Functions:Demonstrate end-to-end program management leadership through collaboration with Operations Leadership, Engineering, Commercial, Procurement, external contractors and suppliers in the preparation, decision making and execution phase of projects.Actively participate in ensuring projects are initiated and approved, CAPEX proposals and project plans are written and received appropriate approvals including Board level.Maintains effective communication of expectations and goals throughout the plant environment to support program objectivesTracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators.Provide timely updates to Refresco NA Operations Leadership on progress and budget of a project and proposes immediate actions when deviations to budget or progress become apparentAssists with the selection, negotiation, and managing of all activities regarding external consultants or vendors.Partner with Technical Leads (Manufacturing or Engineering) and ensures the availability of these resources to complete all phases of the project.Participate in or facilitate the different testing, installation and start up phasesSupports plant preparation for the project ensuring all plant functions are included in the preparation and are aware of (and held to) the expectationsTrack training documentation development and plant leadership and employees training and to ensure flawless startup of new equipment or packaging.Ensure appropriate operating standards and maintenance procedures for all new equipment and processes to support flawless implementationEnsure compliance to all OHSA and environmental regulatory and corporate standards as it relates to projectsEnsure project documentation is complete and filed in the SharePoint per documented standards.Help strengthen the position of Program Management by leading the development, implementation, and training of best practices within Refresco NAEnsure that goals are achieved as planned or contingency plans are implemented to regain schedule or adjust to unplanned events beyond control of team.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree and minimum 5 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Program Management, or a combination of those functionsPrior project and team management experiencePossess PMP or working towards PMP certificationExceptional computer (MS Office and MS Project) skillsPossesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter or willing to quickly learn about the bottling industryAble to effectively communicate at all organizational levelsRequired Skills and Competencies:Experience in in a Food/ Beverage Manufacturing environment preferredExcellent Project Management and reporting skillsProficient in Excel, Word, Project, SAP, and PowerPointStrong team player who is able to work across multiple functionsAbility to analyze and solve problems, results orientedAble to work under deadline pressuresOrganized and detail oriented, adaptable to changeExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and writtenAble to drive accountability, lead teams, and get results through othersAble to effectively resolve conflicts amongst project stakeholdersAble to see the big picture and provide clear and concise messagingHandles day to day issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staffBasic understanding of enterprise financeA Career with Refresco Refresco offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits, which include: Medical/dental/vision insurance Life insurance 401(k) savings plan with company match Paid holidays and vacation Well-being benefits Discount programs Join Refresco TODAY and enjoy a rewarding CAREER!
