Production Supervisor

Responsibilities: Supervise daily production operations to ensure the delivery of high-quality products while maintaining cost efficiency and meeting established performance, quality, and delivery standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing processes, productivity, and product quality while reducing operational costs. Monitor departmental performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and minimize waste. Develop and manage employee work schedules, including shift assignments, to maintain optimal staffing levels and support operational needs. Oversee maintenance planning for production equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime. Analyze production data and performance metrics to maximize output and reduce non-productive time and material waste. Participate in operational and management meetings, providing updates and contributing to strategic decision-making. Communicate policies, procedures, and expectations clearly to team members to ensure compliance and alignment. Ensure accurate completion of required documentation, including incident and injury reports, in accordance with regulatory standards. Identify and report safety concerns, supporting the implementation of corrective actions to maintain a safe work environment. Escalate operational challenges, employee concerns, and departmental issues that may impact productivity or team morale. Review and validate employee timekeeping records daily, ensuring accuracy and accountability. Enforce adherence to proper recording of production and labor data. Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall operational objectives. Qualifications: 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing systems and processes. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with solid mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety and productivity. Demonstrated reliability and consistent attendance. Technical or trade background, including experience with similar equipment, graphic arts, or formal technical training, is preferred. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis. Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including frequent walking, reaching, and overhead work, with occasional climbing, kneeling, and crouching. Good visual acuity and manual dexterity. Ability to work in environments with noise, moving machinery, and exposure to chemicals, with adherence to required safety equipment such as hearing protection and safety-toe footwear.
