This is a demanding but rewarding leadership role and pivotal to our organisation. It will involve leading a dedicated team of skilled individuals in the handling of everything from logs, timber, bulk products and more. You will be responsible for ensuring the safety of your team and for managing cargo flow through the effective use of our unique cargo management systems.Location: BluffStatus: This is a full-time salaried role. Rosters are driven by shipping schedules, and flexibility is required, including rotating between morning and evening shifts to meet business demands.Specific ResponsibilitiesLead and support your team on shiftEnsure strict adherence to Qube safety protocolsRun pre-shift meetings and safety briefingsUse our cargo management systems effectivelyCoordinate with captains, port authorities, and logistics partnersOptimise loading/unloading operationsWho we're after:Seeking natural leaders with prior people management, particularly team leadership, regardless of stevedoring background.
