Role Description This is a full-time remote role for an Associate Attorney. The Associate Attorney will handle legal cases, including providing counsel on labor and employment law, conducting negotiations, and offering legal advice to clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include legal research, drafting legal documents, and representing clients in proceedings. Candidates will also collaborate with internal and external parties to ensure efficient case management and achieve favorable outcomes for clients. Qualifications Proficiency in Law, with experience in Labor and Employment LawExpertise in providing sound Legal Advice and drafting persuasive legal documentationStrong Research and analytical skills to support case developmentCompetent Negotiation skills to secure favorable outcomesFamiliarity with debt collection and litigation is a plusLicensed to practice law in one or more states where Velo Law operates (Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Montana)Ability to work independently in a remote settingJuris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
