Position Title:Engineering SupervisorRequisition Id:1706Worker Category:Full TimeLocation:Dublin, OH, USSalary Range:$85,000.00 To $100,000.00 AnnuallyFLSA Status:ExemptDepartment:EngineeringReports To:Engineering ManagerJob Summary:The Engineering Supervisor provides day-to-day leadership, technical guidance, issue resolution, and development support to engineering team members working on vibration isolation and acoustics products and applications. This role ensures engineering work is executed accurately, consistently, and efficiently while fostering continuous skill development across the team. The Engineering Supervisor supports engineering quality, onboarding, training, process discipline, technical escalation, and continuous improvement within assigned market groups. The ideal candidate is a proactive, hands-on leader with a strong understanding of Kinetics' products, engineering workflows, customer expectations, and manufacturing requirements. This individual will effectively coach team members, resolve technical and process issues, support offshore integration, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive execution excellence. This role requires a proactive leader who can communicate effectively across Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, and Operations.Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & DevelopmentProvide daily supervision and guidance to engineering team members supporting multiple market groupsConduct regular team meetings to review workload, priorities, lessons learned, and process updatesLead one-on-one meetings focused on performance, development, workload balance, and coachingSupport onboarding and training of new employees, including product knowledge and workflow orientationIdentify skill gaps and develop targeted training plans to enhance team capabilityReinforce accountability while maintaining a supportive, development-focused team environmentTechnical Support & ExecutionServe as a primary escalation point for technical questions, non-standard applications, and complex project challengesAssist with scope clarification, RFIs, and customer-driven technical inquiriesHelp resolve urgent project issues, including shop questions and internal execution challengesEnsure engineering outputs meet quality standards, documentation expectations, and schedule requirementsSupport accurate and consistent use of engineering tools, templates, and workflowsQuality, Process & Continuous ImprovementInvestigate engineering errors, manufacturing issues, warranty claims, and customer complaintsLead or support root cause analysis and corrective action planningIdentify recurring issues and implement process improvements to prevent reoccurrenceDevelop and maintain SOPs, training materials, lessons learned, and technical guidanceSupport improvements in engineering tools, dashboards, standards, and workflowsCross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Sales, Customer Service, Manufacturing, and Operations to resolve issues and improve executionParticipate in engineering operations meetings and workload planning discussionsCoordinate with the Engineering Resource Scheduler to align work assignments with capability and training levelsCommunicate effectively across departments to ensure alignment on project expectations and deliverablesResource & Operational ManagementSupport utilization and development of offshore engineering resources, including defining work scope and quality expectationsReview technical fit, checking requirements, and training limitations for assigned workApprove timesheets, manage PTO coordination, and support HR-related initiativesEscalate significant technical, customer, or personnel issues to the Engineering Manager as neededEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field preferredEquivalent hands‑on experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technical applications will be considered3+ years of experience in technical leadership, application engineering, or project-based engineering roles preferredPrior experience leading or mentoring technical team memberExperience with vibration isolation, building acoustics, mechanical systems, structural supports, architectural acoustics, or construction-related engineered products preferredExperience working with custom engineered products, project-based workflows, manufacturing support, or customer-facing technical issuesFamiliarity with Kinetics products, IsoSuite, and internal engineering workflows strongly preferredCore CompetenciesStrong technical judgment and problem-solving capabilityAbility to coach and develop others in specialized engineering applicationsEffective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to balance quality, schedule, and customer expectationsHigh attention to detail with awareness of downstream manufacturing impactSkilled in root cause analysis and continuous improvementComfortable managing multiple priorities and technical escalations in a fast-paced environmentAbility to create clear training materials, documentation, and process guidanceProactive mindset with a focus on identifying risks, gaps, and improvement opportunitiesPhysical Requirements:Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.Ability to work in various environmental conditions.EEO Statement:The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
