This person must be exceptionally strong in Revit, with deep experience in custom millwork, bespoke furniture design, and the production of highly detailed, beautifully organized construction document sets for luxury residential interiors.We are looking for someone who is both design-sensitive and technically rigorous - a professional adept at working with UHMW clients who can translate creative vision into precise, buildable drawings and deliverables at the highest level.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development of interior architectural documentation for the from schematic design through construction documentationProduce, manage, and maintain highly detailed Revit models and drawing setsDevelop detailed drawing packages for:Custom millworkBuilt-ins and architectural detailingCustom furnitureInterior elevations, sections, and detailsPrepare and coordinate complete CD sets with a high level of accuracy and clarityCollaborate closely with the principal, design team, consultants, fabricators, and contractorsResolve technical design challenges while maintaining the integrity of the design intentReview site conditions, field dimensions, shop drawings, and RFIs as neededEnsure all documentation is aligned with project scope, code requirements, and construction realitiesSupport material integration and detailing across architecture, interiors, and furnishingsHelp establish and maintain drawing standards, organization, and best practices within RevitQualificationsDegree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, or related field5+ years of experience in high-end residential interior architecture or interior design documentationAdvanced to expert proficiency in RevitStrong experience detailing luxury residential millwork and custom furnitureProven ability to produce thorough, elegant, and contractor-friendly construction document setsStrong understanding of fabrication methods, construction sequencing, and detailing standardsAbility to coordinate across multiple disciplines and communicate clearly with team members and vendorsExcellent organizational skills and strong attention to detailHighly proactive, solutions-oriented, and able to work independentlyIdeal CandidateHas excellent design judgment in addition to technical expertiseUnderstands the level of detail and refinement required for bespoke residential workCan move fluidly between big-picture thinking and highly granular drawing executionIs meticulous, efficient, and deeply accountableBrings calm, competence, and ownership to complex projectsPreferred ExperienceFamiliarity with New York City project coordination, building submittals, DOB, LPC and consultant collaborationExperience producing furniture drawings for fabricationAbility to review and mark up shop drawings with confidence and precisionWhat Success Looks Like in This RoleRevit models and drawing sets are organized, coordinated, and construction-readyCustom millwork and furniture are resolved at a high level of sophisticationThe design team can rely on this person as the technical backbone of the projectView your Application History
