Vendor Relations Specialist

Our client, a successful professional services company in Boston, is looking for a Vendor Relations Specialist to join their team. This position will play a key role in event operations while owning vendor vetting and compliance. This position requires a proactive and collaborative approach, attention to detail, and strong verbal and written communication skills.*While this role is remote, candidates must be based in the Boston area. Travel for events is required.RESPONSIBILITIESMaintain and validate vendor and subcontractor documentation, including Certificates of Insurance, NDAs, and vendor compliance reportsCollaborate with event staff and Managing Directors to vet and monitor vendorsManage special event insurance policiesReview and negotiate contract clauses to mitigate risk and non-complianceAssist HR with timecard reports and employee remindersAdditional projects as assignedSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE2+ years' relevant experienceExcellent Microsoft Office skillsAbsolute integrity and use of good judgment to handle the confidential nature of duties, tasks, and informationAbility to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced and challenging work environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skillsIncredibly detail oriented and results drivenAbility to meet critical deadlinesWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and consider qualified applicants for employment regardless of race, gender, gender identity, gender expression, age, color, religion, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other protected factor.
