Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:Dispatching a team of about 40 P&D Drivers Relaying critical information between drivers and our vendors / terminal managers Review and revise driver routes to increase efficiencies while monitoring a changing workload Being aware of freight that is in transit Assist and report issues that drivers face when theyre on the road (i.e. flat tire) Ensure facility Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals are met and/or exceeded Maintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standards Provide / support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customers Ability to work a flexible schedule of Monday- Friday 7am-5pmThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Experience in a transportation, cross docking, or shipping and receiving environment Strong leadership qualities Desire to surround customer with excellence in service High aptitude for technology The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills An associates or Bachelors Degree, preferred but not required Our employees enjoy a competitive salary and benefits package including: 401(k), paid time off (PTO), Medical/Dental plan, Flexible Spending Account and Life Insurance.
