Production Worker

The Production Worker position is an entry level to intermediate production position. This position is responsible for feeding raw materials into machinery, assemble product and monitor throughout the process. Additionally, this position is responsible for setting up, running and maintaining quality production independently. Supervisory Responsibilities N/A Duties and Responsibilities · Assist machine operators and other co-workers with production needs · Ability to maintain quality while running production · Ability to read basic measuring tools, such as a tape measure · Accurately read and interpret measuring tools, including tape measures, angle finders, protractors, calipers, and similar instruments · Adhere to the requirements of the safety manual/procedures · Assist with material preparation for the orbital welder process · Assist with coil assembly and other production tasks as needed · Adhere to the requirements of the safety manual/procedures · Consistently maintain high-quality standards during production operations · Ensure proper housekeeping throughout the production floor for overall plant cleanliness and organization to support a safe and efficient work environment · Escalate machinery or equipment problems immediately to Production Coordinator · Follow all safety procedures and comply with company safety policies · Operate and perform routine maintenance on machinery and production equipment · Perform required quality checks, tests and inspections to ensure products meet specifications · Perform general labor and other manufacturing-related tasks as assigned by manager Required Skills and Abilities · Ability to follow instructions · Ability to work both independently as well as in a team setting · Basic blueprint reading skills · Prior manufacturing environment preferred Physical Requirements · Ability to safely use a pallet jack · Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting · Must be able to lift 50lb objects unassisted · Proper use of correct PPE is required The job tasks within this position are: Cold Saw, Debur, Tube Expander, Material Prep, Tube Bender, Wash Bay, and Assembly Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) 4% Match Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Work Location: In person
