Team members work in a collaborative, high-performance environment with exposure to sophisticated matters and clients.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Paralegal & Office Manager role based in Miami, FL. The dual-function position is central to the day-to-day operations of a busy litigation practice. We are looking for someone to provide substantive paralegal support across active matters while assuming responsibility for the administrative and operational management of the firm. The role requires sound judgment, strong organizational discipline, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.QualificationsPortuguese fluency is a significant plus given the firm’s client base.Practical experience supporting litigation matters, ideally in commercial or complex disputes.Proficiency in legal document preparation, including drafting pleadings, discovery responses, correspondence, and reviewing case materials for accuracy and completeness.Familiarity with Florida state court and federal court procedures and e-filing systems.Excellent Communication skills, including professional written and verbal communication with attorneys, clients, courts, and vendors.Advanced Research abilities, including legal research using online databases and fact gathering to support case strategy and filings.Proven office management skills, including calendar and deadline management, vendor coordination, and general administrative oversight.High level of organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with legal practice management software, MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), and electronic filing systems.Prior experience as a litigation paralegal or legal assistant required; experience in a boutique or trial-focused firm preferred.Notary Public commission (or willingness to obtain one)
