Line Cook
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our talented kitchen team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality dishes in a fast-paced fine dining environment. Duties:
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including entrees, sides, and appetizers, to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all food safety regulations and best practices.
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients, and cooking dishes according to recipes and instructions.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure efficient service and meet customer demand.
- Demonstrate proficiency in knife skills and maintain the highest level of knife safety.
- Maintain a positive and supportive attitude, always willing to help and assist colleagues when needed.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and menu planning.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent knife skills and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized kitchen.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, and stand for extended periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
