Network Architect – remote

Overview In this Network Architect role you will modernize the enterprise network and build secure, reliable infrastructure across offices, data centers, and project sites. You will partner with cybersecurity, cloud, and network operations to turn architecture standards into repeatable designs. The position focuses on advancing a zero trust environment and evaluating modern security platforms alongside a Cisco Meraki foundation. You will own hands-on design, PoC work, and technical leadership to deliver secure connectivity at scale. ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement LAN, WAN, and wireless network solutions following enterprise standards with hands-on Cisco Meraki configurationEvaluate new security platforms, including PoC work with next-generation firewall and SASE solutionsImplement network segmentation, VLANs, and access control to advance zero trust, including firewall policies and secure remote accessDeploy and manage SD-WAN across offices and sites, coordinating with ISPs and vendors for circuit install and turn-upBuild network connectivity between on-premises and Microsoft Azure, including VPN and ExpressRoute configurations Key requirements3–5 years of experience in network engineering or architecture with hands-on LAN/WAN/Wireless designExperience with Cisco Meraki hardware and security appliances (switching, wireless, SD-WAN)Strong understanding of network segmentation, VLANs, routing, and firewall policiesExposure to hybrid cloud connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute) with Microsoft AzureRelevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP, or equivalent hands-on experiencehands-on approachcollaborative mindsetproblem-solving orientationCisco Meraki (switching, wireless, SD-WAN, security appliances)LAN/WAN/Wireless designSD-WAN
