Business Intelligence Programmer/Analyst

We’re partnering with a well-established academic organization seeking a Business Intelligence Programmer/Analyst to support enterprise-wide analytics, reporting, and data warehouse initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex business needs into scalable BI and ETL solutions while working cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders.This position will play a key role in designing data models, developing and optimizing ETL processes, supporting enterprise reporting environments, and ensuring data accuracy across systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience with data warehousing, SQL, ETL/ELT development, and business intelligence architecture in a complex enterprise environment.Pay: 60-75/hrDuration: approx. 6 monthsSchedule: 8am - 5pm PSTLocation: Remote (PST Working Hours) Key Responsibilities:• Partner with business and technical teams to translate reporting and analytics requirements into scalable BI solutions• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support enterprise reporting needs• Develop, review, and optimize ETL/ELT processes and data transformation workflows• Create and maintain star schemas and enterprise data warehouse structures• Write, test, debug, and maintain SQL scripts, ETL jobs, and technical documentation• Monitor and tune BI and data warehouse environments for performance and reliability• Conduct data audits, troubleshoot data issues, and recommend process improvements• Support enterprise reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives across departments• Assist with testing, deployment, and change management processes• Collaborate closely with analytics, engineering, and reporting stakeholders to ensure accurate and accessible data solutionsQualifications:• Experience in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, ETL/ELT development, or Data Engineering• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets• Experience designing data models, star schemas, and enterprise reporting structures• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools and data integration workflows• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications• Experience supporting enterprise BI environments, reporting systems, and analytics initiatives• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills• Experience within higher education or other large enterprise environments is a plusPlease submit your resume for consideration.You can use WorkGrades to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose by visiting workgrades.com/home/candidate.
