Requirements include the following:Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent. Some experience or college is preferredMust meet State-mandated requirements for licensed child care centers in the State of Michigan.Maintain a current CPR/First Aid endorsement.Able to communicate with staff, parents, children and the public pleasantly and efficiently.RESPONSIBILITIES:An employee in this position may be called upon to successfully perform any or all of the following essential job functions, duties and responsibilities. Supervise the children's activities in a manner, which will always keep children safe;Assist the On Site Coordinator in providing appropriate childhood experiences;Assist in keeping the room neat, clean, and ready for daily activities;Report all problems or unusual occurrences to the On Site Coordinator or program Supervisors.Be a partner in the philosophy and goals of CenterAssume direct responsibility for implementation of Center goals with small groups of children at the Supervisor's request and guidance;Prepare and serve snacks;Abide by all applicable statutes rules, regulations, and policies.Perform any other duties as requested by the On Site Coordinator.
