Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring a UT or compact RN license, BLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification.Job Details• Position is in the Labor & Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting,• Cares for labor, delivery, and postpartum patients with approximately 120-130 births per year,• Unit includes 3 L&D beds and postpartum care is provided in patient rooms with 2 overflow rooms,• Night shifts from 6pm to 6am, 12 hours in length,• Float to MedSurg may be required,• Uses Athena EMR and PeriCalm fetal monitoring system,• Shared CNA support between Med/Surg and L&D,Job Requirements• Active UT or compact state RN license required,• Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience,• Current BLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications required,• Experience with Athena EMR and PeriCalm system preferred,Additional Information• Provide comprehensive nursing care throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum phases,• Collaborate with family practice providers, as there are no in-house OB/Neonatologist or 24/7 RT,• On-call pharmacy services are available,
