Welder Peoplelink Staffing Solutions is seeking a skilled and dependable Welder to support daily production operations for a growing manufacturer in Alger, MI. This role focuses on welding aluminum components, including bumpers, while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is detail?oriented, self?motivated, and comfortable working independently in a production environment. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PMPay Rate: Starting at $17/hourEmployment Type: Full-time Key Responsibilities Weld aluminum components according to specifications and production requirements Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and welding symbols Set up and adjust welding equipment as needed Perform quality checks to ensure welds meet required standards Grind, finish, or rework welds as necessary Use hand tools and fabrication equipment safely and effectively Assist other departments as needed to support overall production goals Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs Qualifications Welding experience required (aluminum welding preferred) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and written instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Comfortable with physical, hands?on work in a manufacturing setting Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Why Peoplelink Staffing?
