Delivery Driver

The Voto Manufacturers Sales Company Inc is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company. We distribute over 1,000 national brands of industrial products offered by more than 800 American manufacturers targeted to the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment. More than a distributor, we also specialize in made-to-order assemblies for industrial hose applications, wire rope products, synthetic rope, and chain. Voto Sales Commitment is to Provide Excellence Through Quality and Efficiency We are looking for a delivery driver who will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of products to our customers. The driver will be tasked with driving and maintaining the assigned truck and/or trailer, as well as working closely with our team in order to plan routes and track deliveries. The successful candidate will have self motivation to succeed, enjoy working as part of a team, and positive attitude and appearance. Responsibilities: Drive long distances to deliver goods to customers Load and unload cargo into back of truck, trailer, or both Record cargo deliveries Trailer maneuverability Refuel and clean vehicle Report road incidents to management Follow traffic laws Inspect trucks and record issues Follow accident procedures Keep activity log/log hours Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel Plan routes using GPS system Deliver ordered products to customer in a timely fashion Maintain a positive attitude/appearance with customers Requirements: High school diploma or GED Must pass a preemployment drug screen Must agree to background screening and an MVR check Must pass a DOT physical Able to work 7:00 am 3:30 pm or 7:30 4:00pm (may require staying later to complete deliveries in progress) Able to lift/manipulate up to 150lbs Basic math skills Desired characteristics: At least 6 months experience delivery driving/trailering preferred Ability and desire to learn quickly and accurately Reliability and consistency in work ethic Honesty, integrity, and professionalism Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday to Friday Work Location: In person, Clarion, PA Benefits: Health insurance (company pays a portion) Health savings account (with employer match) Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance (company paid, plus additional available to purchase) Disability Policies (company paid) Paid time off (vacation, sick time, holidays) Employee assistance programs 401(k) (with employer matching) Additional Retirement plan (ESOP) (no employee cost) Uniforms (company pays half)
