Our mission is to provide opportunities for our people, take excellent care of our customers, and be good stewards of the environment and our community.Responsibilities:Manage estimating workflow to provide complete proposals before bid deadlinesAssist customers with technical information and pricing during pre-constructionReview plans and specifications to determine our scope of work and the most effective production methodsDefine scopes of work for various trades and distribute subcontract bid packagesRecommend and review preferred subcontractors on each job to Project ManagersSolicit written quotes for hard materials and site furnishingsSubmit plant lists to Purchaser to be sourced and pricedComplete plan take-off and enter bid information into the company’s preferred software programAssign or propose profit margins based on current pricing guidelinesReview bids with Branch and Division Managers based on approval limitsParticipate in pre-job and post-job meetingsQualifications:Ability to read and understand plans and specificationsAbility to build relationships with subcontractors and customersExperience with Estimating Software desiredStrong oral and communication skillsStrong organizational skillsAbility to multi-task in fast-paced work environmentProficient in MS Word, Excel, and OutlookBasic understanding of business math and reporting1 Year minimum experience preferred, but not necessary for entry-level candidatesWhat we provide:Competitive salaryMedical benefits with dental and visionFlexible Spending Account401(k) planFlexible work/life balanceFamily-oriented company cultureRuppert Landscape is an Equal Opportunity and E-Verify Employer.
