Operations and Strategy Specialist

Millions of people live with Atrial Fibrillation (Afib), a chronic condition that is often debilitating and under-treated. Access to timely, specialized care from electrophysiologists (EPs) remains a persistent challenge in many communities. Current Clinic is pioneering a new model, establishing a network of specialized, EP-focused ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) to expand capacity and bring life-changing treatment closer to home.As our Operations and Strategy Analyst, you will be the connective tissue across Current Clinic’s clinical, financial, and operational functions. You are an analytical thinker who knows that great strategy is only as good as its execution, and you bring both the rigor to build the models and the drive to see them through.You will work closely with the leadership team to support high-stakes decisions across new site expansion, service line growth, payer contracting, and virtual care strategy. You are equally comfortable in a spreadsheet and in a room full of clinicians, and you thrive when the answer isn’t obvious and the path forward requires judgment.This position represents an incredible opportunity to make a real impact at Current Clinic during a pivotal time of growth and transformation. What you will be doingFinancial Analysis & Strategic Decision SupportSupport the analytical framework for major clinical and operational decisions.Build business cases that surface tradeoffs and inform confident, well-reasoned decisions about major initiatives.Support the leadership team with ad hoc analyses and scenario planning as strategic opportunities and challenges arise.New Site Activation & Program ImplementationSupport the operational launch of new clinic locations by managing implementation workstreams and cross-functional coordination.Take part in rollout planning to ensure new sites open on time and on standard.Maintain program implementation trackers and surface risks or blockers proactively.Forecasting & Financial ModelingExecute self-contained forecasting updates and financial modeling projects, including volume projections and scenario analyses.Provide FP&A support for operational and strategic initiatives across the organization.Maintain models that are clean, auditable, and decision-ready.Special Projects & WorkstreamsThere are several special project opportunities which will be assigned depending on interest, skillset, and capacity. Examples include:Remote Care StrategySupport strategy development for virtual care programs, including market landscaping.Help translate emerging care models into actionable operational roadmaps.Track developments in virtual clinical workflows relevant to Current Clinic’s growth.Payer Contracting StrategyConduct financial and market analysis to support payer contracting strategy.Develop value propositions to strengthen Current Clinic’s positioning with commercial and government payers.Collaborate closely with the RCM Manager to align contracting strategy with revenue cycle performance.Licensing & Credentialing ManagementOversee provider credentialing and licensing workflows across all locations, ensuring timely renewals and accurate tracking.Maintain organized records and proactively surface credentialing risks before they become operational issues.Ensure compliance with state and payer credentialing requirements.Clinic Workflow OptimizationLead a structured project to map, assess, and standardize clinical workflows across Current Clinic facilities.Identify friction points and operational inefficiencies and develop scalable process improvements.Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to implement changes and track adoption.What we’re looking forMBA or MHA required; recent graduates welcomeStrong financial acumen with hands-on FP&A or financial modeling experience (you build your own models and know how to pressure-test assumptions).Service design mindset or operations background with demonstrated ability to improve complex workflows.Comfortable operating in ambiguity, making well-reasoned assumptions, and moving forward without a complete picture.Equally comfortable with analytical work and operational execution (this is not a pure spreadsheet role!).Ability to work across functions like regulatory, legal, marketing, and clinical, and translate between them.Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to present analysis clearly to clinical and executive audiences.Willingness to travel up to 20–25% to Current Clinic locations nationwide.Bonus points if you…Have experience in healthcare, healthtech, or a similarly complex, regulated environment
