1st Shift Checker [Forklift] (1014/1015)
Responsible for performing BPCS, distribution and audit functions to ensure accurate reporting of inventory movement.
Performs BPCS, distribution and audit functions
Operates a lift truck in a safe manner – checking it daily to ensure there’s gas or an electrical charge, oil, and water.
Checks and confirms that the wheels of the trailer being loaded are chocked.
Assists with cycle counting and physical inventory.
Performs duties according to Good Manufacturing practices (GMP’s) and plant rules and regulations.
Responsible for lifting up to 100 pounds, as required.
Assists in training new employees.
Adheres to common safety guidelines/practices.
Responsible for execution of food safety, legality and quality policies and procedures within the scope of the job responsibilities such as but not limited to: GMP’s, HACCP, food safety, product quality, food security, plant security, etc.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Leadperson.
Basic math skills
