Key ResponsibilitiesPerformance & Site Health: Conduct a comprehensive technical audit of the current site to identify and fix performance bottlenecksMonitor page load speeds and backend functions to ensure a seamless user experienceWordPress Management: Maintain a WordPress environment built primarily with Elementor udate core files, themes, and plugins while proactively managing potential conflicts.Site Optimization: Strategically reduce reliance on heavy plugins by implementing custom CSS and clean code solutions to improve site efficiency.Technical SEO: Manage site structure, meta tags, page titles, and URL structures to improve search engine visibility and positioningPage Building & UX: Develop new key landing pages and update the homepage based on provided mock-ups and designs Ensure all new builds are fully mobile-responsive and provide a positive user experienceMaintenance & Support: Manage routine updates, activate pop-ups for events (e.g., career fairs), set redirects, and post weekly blog contentTechnical RequirementsExpert-level WordPress knowledgeElementor: Strong proficiency is required, as the existing site is built and edited within this platformCustom CSS/Development: Ability to write custom code to replace unnecessary pluginsSEO Tools & Analytics: Experience monitoring search engine positioning and site trafficACF, CPT's: experience with Advanced Custom Fields and custom post types .Familiarity with HubSpot would be a bonusPreferred Skills & QualificationsConsultative Approach: Ability to provide recommendations and "push back" on designs if they impact performance or UXEfficiency: Capable of working independently to meet deadlines and manage a consistent workflowNon-Profit Mindset: Experience working with budget-conscious organizations or non-profits is a plusLocation: 100% Remote; preference for candidates within one time zone of CSTAbout Aquent Talent: Aquent Talent connects the best talent in marketing, creative, and design with the world's biggest brands.
