The Role As a Junior Buyer, you’ll play a key role in supporting procurement activities across raw materials, packaging, and other essential goods. You’ll work closely with Senior Buyers and internal stakeholders to ensure we deliver quality products at the best value, while maintaining strong supplier relationships.What You’ll Be Doing Category Management Manage your own portfolio of spend with support from Senior Buyers Conduct market research to understand cost drivers and trends Build supplier knowledge, profiles, and contingency plans Support budget pricing and contribute to quarterly reviews Identify and help deliver cost-saving opportunities Supplier Sourcing & Market Research Research and identify potential suppliers Analyse market trends to support cost-effective purchasing Maintain supplier databases and capability records Assist in supplier evaluation across cost, quality, and delivery Supplier Relationship Management Build and maintain strong supplier relationships Communicate on pricing, quality, and delivery matters Support supplier performance tracking and issue resolution Assist with stock analysis and demand forecasting Cost Control & Negotiation Support negotiations on pricing and terms Help ensure procurement stays within budget Track and report on cost-saving initiatives Experience What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a procurement or buying role (FMCG, retail, or manufacturing preferred) Understanding of procurement processes and supplier management Experience with procurement systems is advantageous Skills & Attributes Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships Good Excel and MS Office skills with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proactive, organised, and eager to learn Basic negotiation skills with a commercial mindset A collaborative team player At Hain Celestial, you’ll be part of a purpose-driven business with a portfolio of trusted brands and a commitment to quality, sustainability, and innovation.
