Centralcare Inc. is partnering to fill an urgent need for a Radiation Oncology Physician at the Lt. Col. Luke Weathers, Jr. VA Medical Center in Memphis, TN.Job Summary:Provide radiation oncology services to veterans in an accredited VA medical center setting.Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.Perform consultations, diagnose cancer, and develop treatment plans using radiation therapy.Oversee the delivery of radiation treatment and monitor patient progress.Ensure adherence to established clinical practice guidelines and safety protocols.Qualifications:MD/DO degree with board certification in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).Minimum of five years clinical experience in radiation oncology (excluding residency).Experience with 3D Conformal Radiation Therapy (3D-CRT), Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT, 3 years exp), Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT, 10 cases in last 2 years), and Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS, 10 cases in last 2 years). www.everydayhealth.comwww.everydayhealth.com3 years experience in Eclipse treatment planning system and ARIA record & verify system.Current licenses to practice medicine in any state, territory, or commonwealth of the US or the District of Columbia.Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.Strong commitment to patient-centered care.Work Schedule:Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm (excluding holidays).On-call availability required outside of clinic hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.Contract:One-year contractUS Citizens only Required Documents:Updated resume, license, board certification, OIG and SAM search results
