DevOps Engineer

Summary E-INFOSOL LLC is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to be a full-time employee in Washington, DC to join our innovative and customer solutions focused team. Job Description The DevOps Engineer will collaborate with customers, often engaging directly with non-technical personnel, to understand their mission related needs, suggest solutions, and complete work in a timely manner. Design, develop, and maintain a DevOps environment to support the automation and deployment of mission-critical applications and systems. Implement and automate infrastructure, application development, and deployment processes/procedures. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient and automated delivery of applications. Automate and enhance workflows around the build, test, and deployment of applications. Manage and maintain an efficient, secure, and reliable infrastructure environment. Perform other DevOps tasks as needed to support mission needs. Operational support (Linux) Support ATO efforts. Qualification Active Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field of study Minimum 5+ years of application development, cloud solutioning, or IT experience 3+ years DevOps experience 2+ years hands-on Linux experience Required Skills Application development/coding experience (Java, Python) Demonstrated experience with infrastructure automation tools like Ansible, Terraform Significant knowledge and experience with cloud services (AWS preferred) Demonstrated experience with CI/CD environments and toolsets (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab, etc.) Experience with Containerization (Docker) and Containerization Orchestration (Kubernetes) Must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of full lifecycle engineering projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex Cloud infrastructure issues. Desired Skills AWS Certification Ability to communicate with customers to refine requirements.
