Technical Sales Engineer

Why Synapse? Synapse Audio Visual Designs is looking for a dynamic and fluid audio video engineer to lead our firms design effort. As a growing firm we’re looking for candidate that is comfortable in a range of engineering roles from pre-sales site review full through to drafting and supporting commissioning efforts. Core Responsibilities: Pre-sales design and quote generation Signal flow and submittal package drafting Maintaining and developing engineering standards Supporting field commissioning efforts Candidates must meet the below requirements to be considered for this position: Expert level working knowledge of all aspects of the AV marketplace Strong understanding of codes that govern the AV marketplace Export level understanding of electrical systems and their affect on AV deployments Expert level knowledge of office computer softwares I.e Excel, Bluebeam, Highly proficient in CAD drafting for signal flow and submittal drawings (Non software specific) Willingness to be highly flexible in day to day activities Personal and friendly demeanor suited to client interaction and team management We are a rapidly growing company, constantly exploring new platforms and technologies.
