Part-Time Instructor, Human Resources Development (HRD) Program
To provide instruction utilizing technology in delivering Human Resource Development, Career Readiness, Employability and Soft Skills instruction.
Maintain accurate records of enrollment, attendance, and student progress.
Design and initiate individualized plans for students.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods, with the use of technology, to meet the needs of students.
Teach a variety of content areas.
Operate computers, printers and audiovisual equipment.
Possess strong organizational skills.
Evaluate test scores of students and prescribe a course of study that places student in appropriate materials based on test scores.
Establish and maintain rapport with students of varying backgrounds.
Establish and maintain rapport with community partner site personnel.
Perform other related duties as incidental to the work described herein. Able to teach reading, writing and math to students of various levels.Required:
Associate's Degree
Preferred
Teaching experience
Bachelor's Degree
Must be able to work with students of various diverse backgrounds.
Must be able to teach job readiness and employability skills effectively.
Must be able to communicate effectively
Must be flexible in assuming a variable work schedule, which may include evenings.
Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and through correct written grammar and usage.
Experience operating computers and audiovisual equipment.
