Sales & Operations InternOrthopedic Medical Device - Baltimore MarylandSummer 2026 - Paid Part-time - Field + OfficeABOUT THE ROLEWe're looking for a motivated, detail-oriented intern to support our orthopedic medical device sales team across a high-volume multi-state territory. This is a hands-on role that blends field exposure with operational support, ideal for someone considering a career in medical device sales, healthcare administration, or surgical operations.You'll work directly alongside territory managers and leadership, gaining real-world experience in how a surgical sales team runs, from OR case support to account management and data organization.WHAT YOU'LL DOSupport tray and instrument logistics, including loaner set coordination, both on site at the warehouse and in the field.Shadow territory reps on hospital and ASC accounts across MD, DC, PA, and VA.Observe and assist during orthopedic surgical cases (training provided)Assist with CRM data entry, account updates, and call log documentationAttend internal team meetings and contribute to weekly sales reportingWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's or graduate program (healthcare, business, kinesiology, biology, or related field preferred)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailComfortable in fast-paced clinical environmentsReliable transportation and willingness to travel within the territoryProfessional demeanor and ability to work alongside surgeons and clinical staffProficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; CRM experience is a bonusWHAT YOU'LL GAINDirect exposure to orthopedic surgical cases and OR protocolMentorship from experienced medical device reps and sales leadershipUnderstanding of the full surgical sales cycle Competitive hourly payA strong professional reference and potential pathway to a full-time position
