Electrical Engineer III

Summary:Location: Connellsville, PADuration: 23 MonthsPossibility of hire or contract extensionMust be local to worksiteResponsibilities:Perform onsite field research for single lines and floor plans of electrical devices and building infrastructure.Take pictures of electrical devices and building electrical infrastructure.Assist with scheduling off-hour and weekend shutdowns to perform work.Develop single lines and floor plans of electrical infrastructure and devices in buildings.Conduct electrical assessments of buildings and develop assessment reports.Label equipment with incoming volts/amp labels, fed from labels, etc.Trace wiring and determine overloaded circuits and conduits.Identify grounding issues and perform minor electrical upgrades.Input projects into the company's facility database for future project planning.Attend meetings as necessary.Provide single lines in PDF and AutoCAD format.Collaborate with company engineers to perform arc flash assessment and apply labels.Ensure quality assurance and control of assigned work.Prepare and present status reports for management.Communicate goals, priorities, and decisions to the Leadership Team.Partner with operating companies and other business units from conception through construction and turnover.Ensure project close-out and lessons-learned reviews are completed.Requirements:10 years of experience in electrical engineering or related field.Required Skills:Ability to perform field research and develop electrical plans.Proficiency in AutoCAD and PDF formats.Experience in conducting electrical assessments and reporting.Strong understanding of electrical safety and compliance standards.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Preferred Skills:Experience with arc flash assessment and labeling.Familiarity with facility database management and project planning.
