Quality Engineer

*Quality Engineer (Contract-to-Hire | Onsite | Local Candidates Only)* We’re hiring a *Quality Engineer* for a contract-to-hire opportunity supporting a high-performing manufacturing operation. This role is embedded within a key value stream and plays a critical part in driving product quality, process improvements, and overall operational excellence. You’ll partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to ensure products meet customer specifications, internal standards, and applicable industry regulations. *Key Responsibilities:* * Lead *root cause investigations* and drive effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) * Support *APQP / PPAP* activities and new product introductions (NPI) * Develop and maintain *inspection plans, quality documentation, and control strategies* * Conduct *process and supplier audits* to ensure compliance and continuous improvement * Drive *statistical process monitoring (SPC)* and data-driven quality improvements * Collaborate closely with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve quality issues *What We’re Looking For:* * Strong background in *manufacturing quality engineering* * Hands-on experience with *CMM programming* and *vision systems* (e.g., Keyence) * Experience auditing to *ISO 9001, AS9100, and/or IATF 16949* standards * Proven ability to lead investigations and improve processes in a production environment * Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage across all levels, including customers and suppliers *Why This Role:* * *Contract-to-hire* with long-term potential * Opportunity to make immediate impact within a growing operation * Collaborative, team-oriented environment with strong leadership support *Location:* Onsite – local candidates only *Type:* Contract-to-Hire If you’re a hands-on Quality Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is looking for a long-term opportunity, let’s connect.
