Contract Data Engineer - Scala/Spark

Velocity Tech has partnered with an exciting tech company in Europe who are looking for a Contract Data Engineer for 12 months. This role is fully remote with no expectation of travel.About you;Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a Data Engineer, with a focus on Scala and Spark.Strong expertise in AWS services, including S3, EMR, Lambda, Redshift, and RDS.Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
