Embedded Software Technical Leader

Role: Embedded Software Technical LeaderLocation: Maynard, MA - OnsiteMinimum RequirementsBachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.10+ years of hands-on experience with C and C++.10+ years of embedded firmware development experience, including both control and data path development within the telecommunications industry.Strong experience with RTOS, embedded CPUs, and microcontrollers.Preferred QualificationsExperience with ARM processors.Experience leading software or firmware teams and driving cross-functional engineering and product initiatives.Strong background in embedded firmware architecture, design, and development for optical transceivers and high-speed mixed-signal components.Experience developing complex control-plane software in multi-processor, multi-threaded environments.Experience designing and debugging software state machines.Ability to write highly efficient, optimized code for hardware control.Experience using revision control and defect tracking tools such as Git, Perforce, Bugzilla, and Jira.Experience with collaborative code review tools.Comfortable working in UNIX/Linux command-line environments, including Make, shell scripting, and Python.
