Full Stack AWS Engineer
We are looking for a motivated, versatile, independent engineer interested in pushing the status quo to deliver a lot with only a little. The ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack and a firm understanding of serverless AWS cloud infrastructure, web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages.
Notes: Hands-on experience with Containers and AWS ECS/EKS required.
Responsibilities:
- Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences
- Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements
- Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end by designing and implementing APIs, data models, and communication protocols between the different parts of the application.
- Ensure application security, performance, uptime, and scale through sound cloud infrastructure engineering
- Maintain high standards for code quality and application design
- Work primarily in TypeScript, React, JavaScript/HTML/CSSBring to life the vision of our designers and collaborate with solution architects to create reusable web components and reliable APIsParticipate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
- Work with agile development methodologies, adhering to best practices and pursuing continued learning opportunities
- Desired skills and qualifications
- Required Qualification:
- At least three years of experience in building large-scale software applications
- Experience creating infrastructure-as-code (AWS CDK a plus)
- Experience in building web applications (React experience a plus)
- Experience in designing and integrating RESTful APIs (GraphQL a plus)
- Knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScriptExcellent debugging and optimization skills
- Experience in unit/integration testing
