Printemps New York is offering a one-month unpaid internship opportunity as an Inventory & Merchandising Intern within its luxury retail environment.This role is designed as a structured learning experience in Inventory & Merchandising.Starting date : ASAP - Duration 1 monthYou will support the Inventory, Logistics & Merchandising team.The primary purpose of this internship is education and training, in collaboration with the intern’s university program.First Week and Second Week: Security Tagging and Inventory CountThe first week is to understand the manual aspect of merchandizing and how inventory is accounted for by tagging and counting items that are received from our warehouse.Third Week: Inventory to Stock Room Organization and StructureThe second and third week will cover inventory, from tagging and counting to the floor. The stock room is the heart of the store, and it is necessary to understand the organization of the Stock Room, the details of where an item is tagged and why, and finally, the items are delegated to different departments after inputting stock into the system.Fourth Week: Understanding How The Whole Process Comes TogetherThe fourth week will be dedicated to understanding how our inventory is accounted for and added to the system.This week will be an intensive and a deeper look in our internal and external systems for inventory and merchandizing.This month-long internship will allow the student to get a 360 hands-on view of what it is means to be a part of the Merchandizing, Inventory, and Stock team and to gain knowledge of the luxury fashion world of Printemps.Starting date : ASAP - Duration 1 month (subject to academic program requirements and approval)Printemps does not provide work authorization sponsorship for this position.
