Team members enjoy working in a pet-friendly environment that blends hospitality, recreation, and animal care.Role Description The Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Cleveland, OH, responsible for overseeing daily operations across the dog parks, bar, food service, and doggy daycare. This role manages staff scheduling, training, and performance, ensuring excellent guest service and safe, clean facilities for both people and dogs. The Operations Manager coordinates inventory and supply management, monitors bar and kitchen operations, and supports event hosting and promotions. Daily tasks include enforcing safety and sanitation standards, handling customer inquiries or issues, and collaborating with ownership on operational improvements and business goals. The role also involves monitoring financial performance indicators, assisting with payroll and budgeting, and maintaining compliance with local regulations related to hospitality and animal care.QualificationsOperations and leadership skills, including team supervision, scheduling, and day-to-day facility management.Customer service and hospitality skills with a focus on creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging guest experience.Basic financial and administrative skills, such as budgeting support, inventory control, and reporting.Experience in bar, restaurant, or venue management, including familiarity with food and beverage service standards.Comfort working around dogs and knowledge of basic pet safety and behavior, or willingness to learn.Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management abilities in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication skills for interacting with guests, staff, and vendors.High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality, or a related field preferred.Prior experience in operations management or supervisory roles is highly beneficial.
