Oracle Cloud R2R Support Lead (Fixed Assets & Leases)

Role Overview: The Oracle Cloud R2R Support professional is a critical contributor to the Record-to-Report lifecycle, with specialized focus on Fixed Assets (FA) and Lease Accounting . This post-production (Operate) role ensures the integrity of the corporate balance sheet by resolving complex accounting incidents, managing high-stakes period-close activities, and maintaining the stability of asset and lease sub-ledgers. Core Responsibilities: Specialized Functional Support:Deliver expert L2/L3 production support for Oracle Fixed Assets and Lease Accounting modules, including incident triage and defect resolution.Troubleshoot complex accounting outcomes related to asset additions, adjustments, retirements, and depreciation runs.Manage lease-specific technicalities, including lease schedules, remeasurements, terminations, and their downstream financial impacts. Period-Close & Financial Integrity:Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities, ensuring accurate posting, accounting, and reconciliation.Coordinate cross-functional resolution of close-critical issues between Finance and IT departments.Drive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to prevent recurring accounting discrepancies and optimize system performance. Systems Governance & Maintenance:Monitor and support data integrations and batch jobs via FBDI, APIs, and OIC (Middleware) , managing error handling and data reprocessing.Oversee Oracle Quarterly Update readiness, including impact reviews, regression testing, and production validation.Maintain and approve high-quality technical documentation, specifically Close-Time Playbooks , SOPs, and Runbooks. Technical Requirements: Experience: 5+ years of Oracle Financials/ERP Cloud experience with a specialized focus on Fixed Assets or Lease Accounting. Support Expertise: Proven track record in a post-production "Operate " environment, handling L2/L3 incident management. Problem Solving: Advanced ability to troubleshoot complex transactional accounting and integration-driven data loads. Communications: Professional-grade documentation and stakeholder management skills, essential for executive-level reporting. Preferred Qualifications:Proficiency with ITIL-based support models and service tools such as ServiceNow or Jira Experience with reporting validation using OTBI or BI Publisher Familiarity with broader R2R workflows and GL reconciliation. Performance Indicators (90-Day Success):Measurable reduction in close-critical FA/Lease incidents through proactive triage and RCA fixes.Establishment of a repeatable, documented "Close-Time Playbook " and runbooks for top-tier support scenarios.Improved integration monitoring resulting in higher data integrity during month-end cycles.
