Responsibilities: Uphold the Nurtur Core Values and BehaviorsDemonstrate strong interpersonal skills and attention to the needs of othersFocus continually on hospitality, guest care, and service excellenceWelcome guests and students and treating them with care and respectComplete the Aveda retail service cycle for every guestCheck guests in and out for appointments, ensuring that their contact information is correct, the appointment is booked appropriately with the necessary notes, and that the guest is rebooked accordinglyFollow all Company guidelines and policies to properly open and close the retail areaParticipate in and assist with Aveda and Nurtur corporate events including career fairs, marketing events, Earth Month, Beauty for a Cure, etc Requirements:Salon/Spa knowledge, interest or experienceAbility to work in dynamic team environmentSomeone who doesn't know everything!Wants to learn and grow in the beauty industryFun, outgoing and personableEnjoys working with people in a high touch cultureSelf-motivatedAble to educate students on professionalism and lead by example Physical Demands and Work Environment:Walk, stand up, and/or sit for up to eight (8) hours per dayUse hands to handle objects and reach with hands and armsWalk, sit, stand, balance, stoop, speak, and hearSee a computer screen and read paper and electronic documentsOccasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 poundsTolerate a minimal to moderate noise level typical of a school setting Perks and Benefits:Health Insurance401k MatchingDental/Vision/LifePTOEmployee Discount - 50%Professional Development BudgetGrowth Opportunities Travel Requirements: The team member in this position must be able to travel locally to events and for out-of-state training and events as necessary.
