As a national leader in behavioral health services, we support individuals with Severe Mental Illness (SPMI), Autism, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD), and complex medical and behavioral needs in residential settings.We're seeking a dedicated Clinician who is passionate about working with high-acuity populations and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. *The Clinician will cover a caseload in *Auburn Hills, Walled Lake, Rochester/Rochester Hills, Metro-Detroit.Why Join Beacon?Mission-driven work that truly makes a differenceAutonomy in the field with strong clinical supportOpportunities for professional growth and advancementA culture grounded in our "I CARE" values: Integrity, Compassion, Advocacy, Respect, ExcellenceWhat You'll DoIn this role, you will drive meaningful outcomes by:Conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and developing Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs)Designing and implementing individualized, evidence-based treatment plansMonitoring progress through data analysis and adjusting interventions accordinglyLeading crisis intervention efforts and providing post-incident debriefingServing as a clinical consultant in interdisciplinary team meetingsTraining and mentoring staff on behavior strategies and best practicesCollaborating with CMH, families, and external partners to ensure coordinated careSupporting investigations, compliance efforts, and performance improvement initiativesEducation & QualificationsWe're looking for clinicians who bring both strong clinical training and hands-on experience:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Behavioral Analysis, Counseling, or a related fieldValid state license or certification, such as: BSW (LLBSW or LBSW), or MSW (LLMSW)1–2 years of clinical experience (practicum and internship experience may be considered)Experience supporting both mentally ill and intellectually disabled adult populations preferredRequired experience managing complex, high-intensity and/or high-frequency behaviorsExperience in AFC/residential settings, CMH, or hospital environments strongly preferredMust be approved by applicable state, federal, and local entities to work within BSLS programsAbility to maintain required trainings and certifications independentlyProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Oakland CountyAbility to pass a criminal background checkStrong English communication skills (verbal and written)What Sets You ApartYou're confident working independently while managing a field-based caseloadYou demonstrate strong clinical judgment and critical thinkingYou're skilled in crisis response and behavior managementYou're passionate about improving quality of life for individuals with complex needsAdditional ExpectationsMaintain compliance with HCBS guidelines, regulatory standards, and company policiesComplete timely, accurate clinical documentationParticipate in on-call rotation as needed
