Candidates must be comfortable leading electrical work onsite, troubleshooting electrical systems, and ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with NEC and local code requirements.This is a hands-on field role supporting residential solar installation, electrical troubleshooting, commissioning, operational quality control, and field leadership.What You’ll DoInstall, wire, troubleshoot, and commission residential solar PV systemsPerform electrical work for roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar systemsInterpret electrical drawings, site plans, blueprints, and system schematicsEnsure all electrical work meets NEC standards and local AHJ requirementsTroubleshoot system performance issues, inverter faults, and electrical deficienciesPerform testing and verification of system functionality and safetyLead and support installation crews onsite when requiredMaintain organized documentation, photos, and completion recordsCommunicate professionally with homeowners, inspectors, and internal operations teamsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentWhat We’re Looking ForActive Wireman or Journeyman Electrician license requiredSolar PV experience preferredStrong understanding of residential electrical systems and troubleshootingAbility to work independently and maintain productivity in the fieldStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipComfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and in outdoor environmentsProfessional communication and customer interaction skillsValid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordAbility to lift, carry, and move equipment safely throughout the workdayWhat We ProvideCompany Truck for work-related travelGas Cards for fuel expensesWear and Tear (Consumables) Tools providedRelocation BonusCompetitive compensation and opportunities for growthSupportive team environment focused on safety and qualityLegal DisclaimerSpartanX is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values workplace diversity.
