Specific location details and expectations will be discussed during the interview process.Job Description:This job description reflects management's assignment of essential functions; it does not prescribe or restrict the tasks that may be assigned*Position Responsibilities and Duties:Supervise and manage the region scheduling effortsManage shared resources within the region based on priority of workParticipate in Owner negotiations and delay analysis settlementsTake the lead in preparing Delay analysis, and present to operationsExperience with inefficiency and productivity claimsWork very closely with operations in strategizing project approach and logisticsReview Contract Specs and highlight and recommend business termsDevelop knowledge related to SOLV Energy internal cost systemCreate a data base by type of construction in the areaTake the lead from the scheduling aspect in connection to BIM / VDC implementationDevelop some awareness to construction law and legal mattersContinue developing and improving company scheduling standards and philosophiesWork closely with Corporate Scheduling Manager to standardize company’s scheduling philosophyAbility to perform all Senior Scheduler responsibilitiesResponsible for mentoring and development of staffUtilize company-approved computer scheduling system and provide on-going training to Schedulers in assigned regionAnalyze CPM Schedules and related claims on construction projects of large and complex natureDetermine the various alternates to schedule delays and mitigate projected schedule delaysDevelop pre-construction proposal/bid schedulesProvide required CPM schedule analysis and reporting on construction CPM schedules by developing schedules, reviewing baseline and progress schedulesParticipate in construction status meetings with contractor, project team, providing support on scheduling issuesAnalyze and report on scheduling trends and performance data for assigned region/divisionAssist Project Manager and Superintendent in development of master project schedules, subcontractor schedules, and in updating schedulesAssist in claims preparation and analysisDevelop scheduling department proceduresTrain project staff in claims analysis and schedulingPrepare “as built” schedulesMinimum Skills or Experience Requirements:Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or equivalent combination of education and experienceProficient in Primavera P6Minimum 5 years scheduling experienceSolid communication and presentation skillsExcellent public speaking skillsExtensive construction-related scheduling experience - Critical Path MethodAbility to read and understand plans and specificationsKnowledge of construction methods and processes and familiarity with job cost informationProficient written and verbal English communication skillsReliability, dependability and flexibilityExcellent training skills and ability to instruct othersAnalytical and problem-solving skillsEffective leadership, interpersonal skills, management skillsTravelling requiredApplicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring employer sponsorship now or in the future.SOLV Energy Is an Equal Opportunity EmployerAt SOLV Energy we celebrate the power of our differences.
