Student Worker – Office OnlyJob SummaryThe Student/PT Worker – Job Packet Creation supports the business by preparing and organizing job packets required for operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented student looking to gain hands-on experience. The position plays an important role in keeping all relevant paperwork information together.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPaperwork Packet PreparationPrint and organize office paperwork.Label folders and include required label kits.Print, assemble, and organize paperwork.Documents may be sent directly to the printer by internal staff.Ensure all required documents are included in each packet (no technical verification).Check packets for completeness and proper labeling.Identify missing or unclear documents and notify office staff.Tag PrintingPrint Tags As NeededUse office area computer system at the tag station to complete printing tasks.Office Inventory & Stock Maintenance (During Downtime)Assist with maintaining label kits inventory.Assist with maintaining paperwork inventory.Students may check packets for completeness but may not compare drawings, measurements, or revisions.All tasks are performed in an office environment and physically separated from production areas.Required QualificationsCurrently enrolled as a student (high school, technical school, or college).Strong attention to detail and organization.Basic computer skills (printing, file handling).Ability to follow written instructions and procedures.Dependable and able to work independently.Ability to maintain confidentiality of internal documents.If under age 16, must obtain a Minnesota work permit before starting employment.Work Environment & Physical RequirementsSafety-first policy and any policies or training must be strictly followed.This is strictly an office‑based clerical role permitted for minors under Minnesota child labor laws.This role does not require and will not permit entry into production, warehouse, or manufacturing areas.This role does not involve interpreting engineering drawings or verifying technical specifications.This role does not involve operating or assisting with any production equipment.Prepare documentation and digital files using office equipment only.Ability to work at a desk or office workstation.Ability to lift and carry materials up to 10lbs.Use of hands for handling documents, labeling, and printing tasks.Work is performed under direct supervision of office staff.Hour RestrictionsNo work during school hours7 a.m.–9 p.m. (Labor Day–June 1)7 a.m.–7 p.m. (June 1–Labor Day)Max 3 hours on school daysMax 18 hours per school weekUp to 40 hours per week during summer/breaksWe anticipate this position taking 0–15 hours per week.
