Job purpose The Paraprofessional works closely with school staff and provides instructional support to the students alongside the classroom teachers. The Paraprofessionals advocate for the students, encourage them to succeed both academically and personally, and provide emotional support to them at the most pivotal of times. Duties and responsibilities Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Provide instructional and administrative support to teachers in the classrooms Supervise students inside and outside of the classroom Work with the students in small groups and one-on-one Provide enrichment activities for the students Assist in student meal distributions and program management Perform other duties as assigned or needed
