Sr. Technical Program Manager, Global Network Deployment (GND)
Job Overview
AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. The role involves supporting AWS data centers and ensuring continuous access to the cloud services.
Responsibilities
Resolve planning gaps by driving joint outcomes with stakeholder teams within GND.
Own the identification of systematic issues blocking planner throughput and drive resolution across team boundaries.
Collaborate on initiatives within GND that impact planning, ensuring cross‑regional learning.
Provide forward visibility, surfacing risks before they become blockers, engaging decision‑makers, and driving resolution so planners stay focused.
Ensure solutions are grounded in planners’ work, translating operational pain points into actionable requirements, representing planning in design discussions, and validating that what ships solves the problem.
Own how improvements land in the planning workflow – sequencing rollouts, enabling planners, and confirming the change helps; drive adoption of tools.
Optimize business processes through Agentic AI solutions.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of program management or technical project management experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related technical field
Experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with AI/ML technologies
Knowledge of data center infrastructure design, operations, or delivery
Knowledge of networking
