We have BIG dreams and are looking for a team player and leader to drive this critical function.What You’ll DoPrimary client contact and liaison; communicate effectively with clients and develop positive relationships with client personnelTop review of returns, workpapers and issues Handle communication from clients and tax authorities. Advise clients on tax strategies.Provide future tax planning to clients.Interpret wills and trust documentsAnalyze tax data submitted by the client to maximize the outcome for the client.Research new tax trends and regulations.Ensure compliance with government tax rules.Supervise, train and mentor tax staff; Support the growth and development of team membersManage multiple assignments inside an engagement.Communicates with Partner on work status and client issues that ariseQualificationsBachelor’s or Master's Degree in tax or accountingMinimum of 10 years of tax consulting/compliance experience in public accountingMinimum of 2 years in a managerial role involving clients and team membersAdvanced understanding of federal and state tax laws and regulationsStrong research and analytical skillsAbility to fully manage client relationships on behalf of the firmAbility to work independently, but also work well with othersStrong interpersonal and relationship building skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAdvanced knowledge of applicable accounting software, CCH Axcess & Engagement preferredWorking at LMC provides unlimited growth potential along with a competitive compensation and benefits package. This range includes the anticipated low and high end of LMC’s salary range for this position. Actual compensation may vary based on various factors, including experience, education and/or skill level.
