Company :Allegheny Health NetworkJob Description :GENERAL OVERVIEW:Maintains safety and structure by observing and recording patient information pertinent to the treatment plan and reports information to appropriate staff. Works under nursing supervision.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to provide for an on-going assessment of changes in patient status and gathers pertinent patient care data through rounding and patient interaction using all available resources in the inpatient or outpatient setting. (60%)Organizes patient care tasks according to priority and importance of tasks to be completed. (20%)Obtains vital signs and height and weight measurements. Provides crisis intervention on the unit to maintain safety. Responds to facility Code events. (10%)Reports any changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff and suggests modifications to the master treatment plan. (10%)QUALIFICATIONS:MinimumBachelor's degree or one to two years of relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of bachelor's degree.Non-violent crisis intervention required within six months of hireCPR - American Heart AssociationAct 34 Criminal Background Clearance CertificateAct 33 Child Abuse Clearance CertificateAct 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance CertificatePreferred* 1 - 3 year of mental health or clinical experienceSteady Nights - Full TimeWorking Schedule: Please note that this role is a 40 hours per work week steady nights.
